Chakra

Chakras are the circular vortexes of energy that are placed in seven different points on the spinal column, and all the seven chakras are connected to the various organs and glands within the body. These chakras are responsible for disturbing the life energy, which is also known as Qi or Praana.

The seven chakras are the main energy centers of the body.  Unblocking your chakras refers to when all of our chakras are open, energy can run through them freely, and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit.  Chakra translates to "wheel" in Sanskrit, and you can imagine them like wheels of free-flowing positive energy.

Chakras are various focal points used in a variety of ancient meditation practices, collectively denominated as Tantra, or the esoteric or inner traditions of Hinduism. The concept is found in the early traditions of Hinduism.
